GREASE a cookie sheet; SET aside.

In a heavy medium saucepan, HEAT one cup of the chocolate chips, the unsweetened chocolate and the butter until melted, STIRRING constantly.

ADD the eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla and baking powder; BEAT until combined, SCRAPING sides of pan occasionally.
4.
STIR in remaining cup of chocolate chips and the nuts.
5.
On the greased cookie sheet, DROP rounded teaspoons of dough 2 inches apart.
6.
BAKE in a 350° oven until edges are firm and surfaces are dull and cracked, about 8-10 minutes.
7.
TRANSFER to a wire rack; let COOL.
