In a large bowl, COMBINE the Chex, pretzels, peanuts and caramels.

2.

In a microwave, MELT the chocolate chips, STIRRING until smooth.

3.

POUR melted chips over cereal mix; TOSS to coat.

4.

Immediately SPREAD onto waxed paper-lined baking sheet; let STAND until SET, about 20 minutes.

5.

BREAK into bite-sized pieces; STORE in an airtight container.
