Preheat oven to degrees FShape dough into 1-inch ballsRoll balls in additional granulated sugar to coatPlace balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheetUsing the tines of a fork, flatten balls by making crisscross marks on topBake for 7 to 9 minutes or until bottoms are light brownTransfer to a wire rack and let coolMakes about 36 cookies.
