In a large resealable plastic bag, COMBINE the marinade ingredients; ADD roast; SEAL bag.
2.
TURN to coat roast; REFRIGERATE overnight, TURNING once or twice.
3.
DRAIN and DISCARD marinade.
4.
GRILL roast, covered, over indirect medium heat (350° F) until desired doneness is reached (*see note); CHECK internal temperature with meat thermometer every 15 minutes after first hour of grilling time.
5.
REMOVE from grill; let STAND for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
