PREPARE Fiery Barbecue Sauce according to recipe.
2.
CUT spareribs into slabs that will fit into the slow cooker; RUB both sides of slabs with salt and pepper.
3.
PLACE ribs on broiler pan; BROIL until browned, turning once.
4.
TRANSFER ribs from broiler to slow cooker; POUR one cup of sauce over ribs; COVER; SET cooker to high for 30 minutes.
5.
REDUCE heat to low; COOK for an additional 6 hours.
