Directions

BEAT first 11 ingredients (all except water and pecans) at low speed with an electric mixer until blended, about 3 minutes.
2.
ADD water, BEATING until blended; STIR in pecans.
3.
POUR batter into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loafpans.
4.
BAKE at 350 F until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
5.
COOL on wire rack 10 minutes; REMOVE from pans; COOL completely on wire rack.
