Directions

SORT and WASH beans; PLACE in large sauce pan; COVER with water 2" above beans.
2.
BRING to a boil; BOIL one minute.
3.
REMOVE from heat; COVER; LET soak for one hour; DRAIN.
4.
PLACE beans and remaining ingredients into a slow cooker on low; COOK until beans are soft, about three hours.
5.
REMOVE ham bone, let COOL; STRIP off lean meat; RETURN meat to cooker; REHEAT.
