PREPARE and BAKE pie shell according to recipe (or package instructions, if pressed for time); let COOL.

COMBINE softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip; SPREAD in pie shell.

In a saucepan, COMBINE dry gelatin, vanilla pudding and water; COOK over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
4.
REMOVE from heat; let COOL 5 minutes.
5.
ADD sliced peaches to gelatin mix; STIR until evenly coated; POUR over cream cheese mixture.
