In a large salad bowl, COMBINE cantaloupe balls/cubes with torn salad greens and dried cranberries.
ARRAY thinly sliced onion rings on top, if desired (note that red onion can be very strong-tasting).
Just before serving, DRIZZLE salad dressing over top; TOSS until greens are coated.
