1.

COOK noodles according to package instructions; DRAIN well.

2.

in a mixing bowl, COMBINE cooked noodles and butter, STIRRING gently until butter melts; SET aside.

3.

In a separate bowl, COMBINE cottage cheeses with remaining ingredients except Romano cheese.

4.

ADD cottage cheese mixture to noodles; TOSS gently.

5.

POUR into a baking dish (see note); SPRINKLE with Romano cheese.

6.

BAKE, uncovered, at 350° until thoroughly heated, about 25 minutes.

Use a 2 quart baking dish to make 6 servings (original recipe)
