Great dish for potlucks. May use recipe for similar Asian chilli.
ADD oil to a large saucepan over medium high heat.
ADD chicken, onion and garlic powder to saucepan; STIR; COOK until chicken is no longer pink.
ADD beans, broth, and chiles.
bFOR WHITE CHILI only, ADD the five spices; STIR to combine.
aFOR ASIAN CHILI only, ADD curry paste; STIR to combine.
For both chilis, BRING to a boil; REDUCE heat; SIMMER, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
REMOVE from heat.
FOR WHITE CHILI only, STIR in sour cream and cream.
