1.

In 4-quart saucepan over medium heat, HEAT 1 teaspoon oil.

PRICK each sausage with a fork; ADD to saucepan; COOK about 8 minutes, turning frequently until browned on all sides; DRAIN on paper towels.

3.

ADD remaining 1 teaspoon of oil to drippings in saucepan; HEAT over medium-high.

4.

ADD peppers and garlic; COOK 3 to 4 minutes, STIRRING frequently until peppers are crisp-tender.

5.

ADD chicken broth, corn, chiles, cumin, oregano, salt and pepper; BRING to boil.

6.

REDUCE heat to low; SIMMER, uncovered, 10 minutes, STIRRING occasionally.

7.

CUT sausages into 1/4-inch slices; STIR into mixture in saucepan.

8.

COOK, uncovered, 10 minutes longer, STIRRING occasionally until sausages are heated through and flavors are blended.

SERVE accompanied, if desired, by tostada chips sprinkled with cheese and heated in oven.
