1.

In a medium saucepan, COOK noodles with salt and oil in 1 1/2 quarts boiling water for 8 minutes; remove and DRAIN.

2.

In the meantime, in a large skillet at medium heat, COOK ground beef until almost done; DRAIN off fat, push meat to side of skillet.

3.

ADD onion; COOK until almost done; STIR together with meat to finish cooking.

4.

LOWER heat; STIR in soup, corn, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper and chili; MIX well; STIR in cooked noodles.

5.

PREHEAT oven to 350°.

6.

TURN mixture into a lightly buttered 1-1/2 quart casserole.

7.

SPRINKLE crushed cracker crumbs over top of mixture; DRIZZLE melted butter on top.

8.

BAKE at 350° F until heated through, about 50 minutes; REMOVE from oven; let STAND for 10 minutes.
