PREHEAT oven to 375°.
In a medium mixing bowl, BLEND cream cheese, sugar and spice; STIR in half of chopped apple.
SPREAD mixture into an 8" pie plate or small casserole dish; TOP with remaining apples, cheddar cheese and pecans.
BAKE until heated through, about 10 minutes.
Serve with a favorite cracker, such as Wheat Thins
May substitute ground cinnamon for pumpkin pie spice.
