1.

In a medium mixing bowl, COMBINE the beaten eggs, jalapeno, mint, cumin, garlic powder and salt.

2.

ADD the ground meat; MIX well; form into patties, one per serving.

3.

GRILL patties over medium heat until interior of patty reaches 160° F, about 8 minutes per side (turn once).

Raita

1.

STIR together the 8 raita ingredients; COVER; REFRIGERATE.

Serve topped with raita sauce.

Substitutions: 1. Dried mint for fresh mint: use 1/3 less quantity. 2. Minced garlic for fresh garlic: use 4 times the quantity. 3. Ground beef: use equal amount of ground pork or graound turkey.
