Lightly SPRAY a large baking dish with no stick cooking spray.

2.

In a small bowl, STIR together olive oil, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning; BRUSH onto chicken wings; PLACE wings in dish.

3.

BAKE wings, uncovered, in oven set to 300° for 1 1/2 hours.

4.

REMOVE from oven; STIR together melted butter, garlic, ground red pepper and hot sauce; SPREAD mix evenly over wings.

May also be used as an appetizer when the group is gathered for a party. In that case, use 2 wings per person and adjust recipe accordingly.

1. Estimate 6 to 8 wings per pound. 2. Use your favorite brand of Louisiana-style hot pepper sauce; vary amount to suit your palate.
