Great use for leftover mashed potatoes

1.

In a skillet, COOK beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; DRAIN; ADD garlic; COOK 1 minute longer.

2.

STIR in water and taco seasoning; HEAT through; STIR in 1/2 of cheese.

3.

TRANSFER mixture to an ovenproof baking dish.

4.

In a mixing bowl, COMBINE potatoes and remaining cheese; SPREAD over beef mixture.

5.

PLACE baking dish 4-6 infrom the heating unit; BROIL until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.

1. use leftover or refrigerated mashed potatoes which have been warmed.
