In a large skillet, COOK ground beef over medium heat, STIRRING to crumble meat, until browned.
STIR in next 7 seasoning ingredients; HEAT thoroughly.
RESERVE hamburger to a separate dish; DRAIN off most of oil.
INCREASE heat to medium high; ADD chopped onion; STIR-FRY until translucent.
DECREASE heat to medium; RETURN hamburger to skillet.
Serve on warm buns.
