SPRINKLE sugar over whole strawberries and gently MASH until berries are thoroughly broken.

2.

SLICE angel food cake into 8 wedges; ADD 1 ounce berry mixture per serving; TOP with 2 tablespoons of Cool Whip.

This recipe uses about half of a typical store-bought angel food cake. A potato masher works well for strawberries.
